Keeping Grandma Nancy busy!

Ready for their walk with Meme
Testing her lego building skillsBoo working hard on his legos
Meme showing the boys some neat story sites on the computer
Little Blue Eyes
Trio of Trouble
We were all sad to see "Meme" head back to Iowa today. We were busy playing, shopping & going to lots of the boys' activities. We also took a horse drawn carriage tour of downtown where the boys loved riding the carriage & Mom & I enjoyed the history. She had "special" time with each of the boys & took Filson to see The Lion King in 3D & took Ian out for ice cream & to play with trains. The boys had a "sleepover" in her room every night, which meant I caught up on some sleep! It was a lot of fun & it will be a hard adjustment this week without her! Luckily, John made it back last night & we're all excited to have him home!

Not sure about his silly expression, but he was ready for his 1st game yesterday
In action during his game this afternoon
Grandma Nancy arrived Thursday & we have been busy ever since. Filson had his first soccer game yesterday & another one this afternoon. He was pretty excited to get out there & get in on the action!

The Boys

John & the monkeys celebrating his birthday Monday. It's actually another week away, but he has to spend his birthday on the road again this year, so the boys & I baked him a cake & opened presents before he left.
Monday must have been our lucky day, we spotted a double rainbow while at Filson's soccer practice. By the time I made it back to the car to snap a picture, the one on the left had become very faint, but it was neat while it lasted!
The 3 guys before heading out for their first morning at Mom's Morning Out. They'll go every Wednesday for 3 hrs at a church on Wrightsville Beach. I had been on the wait list for this since last September, so you can about imagine how excited I was to get the call that they were all in! The boys are in separate rooms & it sounds like everyone got along very well. When I picked them up I told one of the teachers that I wasn't sure what to do with my free time, and she quickly replied "you'll get over that!" I think she is absolutely right!!

Playing with Mimi

Mimi came to visit yesterday & we had a great time! The boys loved playing outside with her & we all had dinner at the beach last night & enjoyed the beautiful weather.
If it seems I post a lot of pics of them on their gator, it's because they ride it all the time! I love how Boo is just chillin' with his cup, like he's out for a leisurely cruise!
Cooper loves all the attention & playtime with Mimi, too!

6 Months Old

It seems as though we blinked & half a year passed us by. Our little Boo-G turned 6 mths yesterday! He's had 2 bottom teeth appear & is finally going to town on solid food. He weighs around 15.5 lbs & is getting so long that 6 mth pants already look like high-waters! He hardly sits still these days, scooting himself around & grabbing anything & everything in sight. He's going all night without feedings, which makes for more rested & happier parents in the morning ;) We sure do love his big blue eyes & huge smile!

3 Little Guys

Our little guy is scooting all over the place & keeps an eye on his big brothers. His second tooth popped through so he's chewing on everything & finally getting good at eating real food!
Filson peeking out of the fort he & Ian constructed today
A couple of cheesy smiles

The Cunningham Girls

Ian, Vada & Filson playing at the Arboretum yesterday
Anna Leigh & Isla
Such a pretty day for these 3 to run around & burn off some energy
Little Grant can't wait to be running around with the big kids
This looks like trouble!
All kinds of fun to be had in the igloo tent
Boo loves him some IJ....she was probably ready to hit the road & get back her personal space : )
Doing laps on the gator sure does work up an appetite!
These girls are so sweet & happy!

No rain in the forecast, but maybe Ian thought his boots could send him down the slide faster?
Won't be long before she's in the driver's seat

We loved having Anna Leigh, Vada & Isla spend a couple days with us. We managed a trip to Target & a visit to the arboretum, but other than that just spent time hanging out at the house. The kids have so much fun together & there's never a still moment when these 5 little one's are hanging out!
