Filson & I road tripped to Raleigh today to spend the afternoon with Vada & Anna Leigh. We had a lot of fun going to the shops in downtown Wake Forest & eating at their deli, which is always so yummy! Vada turned 3 months old yesterday and she is the happiest little girl & still has all that gorgeous hair she was born with. We got a kick out of having a photo shoot with Sam, Vada's new "dog" her grandfather brought to her. It resembles the dog that Patrick's family had when he was a young boy. It took Filson a minute to realize he wasn't real, but once he did he was cracking himself up while playing with him.

That is so nice that the four of you were able to spend the day together! I can see why Filson was a bit surprised about Sam...he looks so real!!!

The one nice thing about Sam is that you don't have to feed or walk him!! Oops, that's 2!!!!!!! Great that you girls can get together!
Man, I wish we were able to come down there at the same time! I'm thinking we are coming down at the beginning of Nov. We'll have to set it up.
Filson is so cute. I love that picture of him holding onto the tongue.
