Filson & I spent yesterday in Raleigh at Anna Leigh & Vada's house. My friend, Amy, had brought her 2 children down from Virginia Beach for the weekend. Anna, Amy & I grew up in Mt. Ayr together & also spent a summer together in Japan during college, so it was a lot of fun to be able to catch up & see all the kids together. Vada is now 4 1/2 months & she was very gracious to the allow the 4 yr, 2 yr & 1 yr old come in and take over her territory & toys!! The kids were all so cute together, but unfortunately it was impossible to get them to all sit still & look at the camera at the same time! Filson had a great time & slept the entire 2 hr drive home!

Brittany...it's Karen (elmer) How are you???? I'm so glad you all got together this wkend! Where do you live out there? I was in Wilmington/Raleigh in July and I'm finding out I could have looked Anna Leigh up while I was there! I went out for a little 10 yr. reunion with my college roomies at UNCW! It was a great time...spending most of the long weekend at Wrightsville Beach. I'm going to be very bummed if you are living near Wilmington...I would have loved to see you!!!! Your little boy is oh so sweet - and looks like you have #2 on the way! Congrats!! Take care and keep in touch! I don't blog, but I am on facebook if you are on it??
Britt - It was great seeing you guys! Filson is a little charmer. I hope Dax didn't rub off any bad juju on him. Thanks again for making the drive up! The picture of C & Filson "under the covers" is very cute.
