Last night was a big one for the Little Guy, he got both a new 'do & a new bed. Well, the bed isn't new, but new to him. It is actually the same bed John slept on when he was a little boy. I'm not really sure why he's moved it around with him for all these years, but I'm very happy he did. It will work out great for us & it's pretty neat that Filson can sleep in his Dad's bed. He fell asleep fast & hard in it, so I hope he continues to enjoy it. I snuck in and snapped the second picture while he slept. I only wish it had audio, as he was snoring pretty loud at the time. I also wish I had taken a 'before' picture of the hair. It had become so long that we started joking with our friends about giving him a rat tail, so we knew it was time to chop it off. John took the scissors to him in the bath last night & he looks a lot different to us this morning without his mullet!

What a big boy! I am so glad the transition to the "big boy" bed is going well! Adorable bedding...where did you find it?
WTG, Filson!! Reading your post made my heart pound, I'm so not ready to move P to his big boy bed!! We have the bed, his bedding, everything! I should just do it. Stella was in a big girl bed by this point.....hmmmm..... I just *know* Porter would do horrible at the transition! But maybe we'll do it now that F is in his big boy bed....such peer pressure! lol! :)

WAY to go Filson! love the quilt too! They look so small in a big bed! Love the new 'do too!! Haydn still will not get out of bed on her own, calls for me in the morning and nap time! YEAH!! Just in time for the new one to use the crib! many changes happening at your house. Did he switch rooms too??
P.S. love the stocking hat! noticed that in the pictures with Vada!
Thanks, the quilt was a steal, I just happened upon it at Marshall's. I thought he would be into the trucks and I liked that it matched the colors already in his room. No room shifting, we left the crib up as he's going to share a room with his baby bro/sis come June.
Way to go, Filson!! That is so great he slept in his new bed so well. The quilt looks beautiful, and so does his new 'do!!
My gosh!! Our little guy is growing up so fast!!! Can't get over how easy the transition was to his big boy bed!!! You are lucky! Hope he continues to sleep well there. Love the new hair cut!
Good job on the big bed! I haven't tackled that one yet. I'm waiting for Matt to get back. Filson looks cute with his new 'do!

I agree, the bedding is really cute. And some great pictures of Vada and Filson! It'll be fun to see them growing up so close.
