Goodbye, Ghia!

Yesterday we said goodbye to John's '64 Karmann Ghia. We all loved the car & had a lot of fun in it. I'm not sure who will miss it more....Filson or his Dad? Hard to believe, but we just didn't seem to have much free time to cruise around the beach in a fun little car ever since the Little Munckin arrived!! Here's the Little Guy taking it for one last "spin". Maybe someday....say 20 years?....we can get another!

What a cute little car!! I totally understand you guys not using it much, unless you attach the carseats to the trunk or something! :)

What a fun car!!! I'm sure it was hard for John to give it up. But I understand the reasoning when you don't use it much - especially with the new baby coming. I'd rather have the babies than the car!!!!! (Always the practical Bohemian!!!)

The car is so cute! Understandable tho, that you dont have time to take it out much.

That is a very cute car! Isn't it funny how practicality wins out over fun now that we are parents!

what a cool car! I bet that was a sad day. My kids already talk about Mommy getting a convertible when they are older. It's a done deal!
