Last Friday morning we packed the car & hit the road for Wilkesboro for a weekend at Merlefest. We had a really great time & saw a lot of good music. The weather was hot during the day, so we did our best to stay in the shade, but it was great for camping at night. We even managed to get some good nights of sleep, even with a little one & a pregnant lady in the tent! John & I found that it was definitely not as relaxing as it has been in the past, as we spent a lot more time in the kids area & keeping up with the Little Guy. However, it was great to see Filson enjoy it and take part in the bubbles, bounce castle, painting, sandbox & many other activities they had for children. And of course, he loved the freedom of the campsite at night!

It sounds like you had a great time! Camping during pregnancy and with a toddler would be a challenge!
You are offically insane--camping....in a TENT...8 months PREGNANT....with a ONE YEAR OLD?!?!?! :)
Sounds like a great Merlefest weekend! I love that pic of Filson sleeping!! That is cool they have so much for kids to do.
Ditto KJ's comments!!!
