Back to reality

Just a couple of random pics from this week. It took a couple of days, but we're back in the groove of things here at home. We had playgroup this morning & Filson had a really good time with all the other kids. Ian slept through most of it & then sat in his car seat observing all the action for about the last 20 minutes, so I actually got to sit around & chat with the other girls for awhile. Filson's new thing is to go out & find as many baby frogs as he can in the front yard, which is what he has collected in the plastic container above. He also had an exciting treat from Dad when we returned from Iowa....a new tank with 2 goldfish! As if the 4 of us & Cooper didn't create enough chaos around this house, we now have Blake & Red Hat thrown into the mix. Filson is really excited about checking on his fish every day, so let's hope Mama can remember to feed them daily so they can have a long & prosperous life ahead of them!

Okay, first of all....those little dark dots are FROGS?!!? I had no idea they were that small! I saw some jr high boys catching tadpoles at a pond near our house and they were HUGE, like the size of a golf ball! That is crazy that frogs are that small. And congrats on getting 2 new additons to your family! I love their names, who named them? We had Barney (the original) for close to 2 years before he kicked the bucket and he was neglected a lot of the time!! So you have hope. :)

I'm sure John is glad to have you all back but looks like you had a lot of fun in Iowa! And Ian is growing so fast. Both your boys are so cute!

I know John is excited to have his family home! Love the new fish! If Barney lived for 2 years, who knows how long Blake and Red Hat will survive!!! I can't get over those little things are frogs either! Think they'll have to grow alot b/4 you can dine on frog legs!

Previous comment was from Kiki, not Riley. Didn't realize I was signed in under her. :)
