I definitely had my hands full on the flights, but the boys were both great & it all went very well. We made it back Thursday evening & have spent the last couple of days trying to get back into a routine at home. The only thing we didn't like about our vacation was not having John with us. It was a really long time to be apart and we were all very excited to be reunited with him at the airport. Filson was so cute running down the hallway into his dad's arms, it's too bad we couldn't have had his expression on camera.
Today we took a little drive to Carolina Beach to get out & enjoy the day & spend some time together. We grabbed lunch at the Tiki Bar & waded in the water & enjoyed the nice weather. I have a hard time believing that summer is already coming to an end. It seems that we have been on the go since June & the time has flown by.

Love the picture of Ian's smiling! You captured some great photos. All your pictures are great. You were on the go while in IA.
So happy that you got to spend so much time with your folks, Britt! They loved having the boys home to spoil and make memories! Know you were happy to be back with John though! You and AL need to move closer to home! Great photos!
Great photos!! I also love Ian's smiling pics. :) I know Filson had a blast spending time in MA with his wonderful grandparents!!
Great pics!!! That must have taken you awhile to upload!!! :) I love the one of Ian smiling, too, and loved seeing little Harper and Kelly! Oh,and loved Filson playing on the old playground equipment:)
So adorable pics. :) I miss bringing my kids outdoor during summer. Last year we spent most of our time hunting for whitetails in Appanoose County hunting land. There are lots of hunting land properties and lodges for sale here Iowa and Missouri Hunting Lands
