Sadly, our trip had to come to an end and Thursday night we pulled back into Wilmington after 5 great nights on the road. We rented an RV last Friday & headed towards the mountains Saturday morning. Other than tickets to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad on Sunday, we had nothing on our schedule. Luckily, the weather on Sunday was absolutely gorgeous & perfect for our trip to Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin Patch. From Monday morning on, we were singing "Rain, rain go away, come again another day"! Despite the yucky weather, we still really enjoyed ourselves & never tired of the beautiful scenery. The boys were excellent travelers & we are certain that there will be many more camping trips to come!

What a perfect year for Filson to be an engineer! How fitting for the train ride! Such a cute shot of him looking out the window on the train. Love the family shot of all 4 of you on the train, too---beautiful!!!! What a fun vacation!!
