The boys made table turkeys at the children's museum Friday. Filson was really into it & Ian just kind of chilled & went at his own pace, mostly checking out what everyone around him was doing.
We have had a great few days with John home. He came back to town Wed & began vacation on Thursday. We have never had this much time to work on projects around the house, so we have both been going full speed since then. Although he'll probably tell you he's spent more time helping me out than getting things crossed off his to-do list! We have also worked in a date night out with our friends, a girl's night out for me & a guy's night for him this week, so it will be really hard to see this vacation end!
As of last night, the boys now have bunk beds in their room & Filson is so excited to have his bed up so high. He's probably climbed up & down the ladder 100 times since yesterday : ) We plan on moving Ian to the bottom bunk after Christmas. The bottom is a double, so I'm wondering if once the "newness" of the top bunk wears off, Filson will make his way into sharing the bottom bed with his little bro.
Tomorrow will be an exciting day as all of John's family comes to town. We are looking forward to spending a couple days with everyone & the boys can not wait to have their cousins here to play with!
