Fun in Raleigh

John, Filson, Ian & Vada in the hot tub Monday night
Look at all that gorgeous hair on 2 week old Isla!
John, Filson, Ian & Patrick
Ryan meeting baby Isla
Playing trains at the Children's Museum Tuesday morning
Flashing a cheesy smile next to all the colorful fish
Ian checking out the view from the top of the Pirate Ship
Making a splash
When asked what his favorite part of the museum was, he immediately said "the race cars". I think he put his car in the race about 50 times & probably would have stayed right there all day!
Seeing how to make new colors
Both the boys getting in some soccer action
This fitness exhibit was really neat & I loved this mini-hockey rink. Ian is just observing, but Filson made a few goals.
Catching a wave
Filson & Uncle Pups in the hot tub
Little Boo sneaking some ice cubes
Fun in the swimming pool

John happened to be working in Raleigh this week & Ryan was heading there Monday, so the boys & I were able to go stay with John & spend some more time with "Uncle Pups", who was able to spend Monday night with us. Jay & Donna also happened to still be staying with the Cunningham's, so it was a great couple days of visiting with everyone. Tuesday morning the boys & I spent time at the Raleigh Children's Museum. After a night of no sleep, the boys should have been walking zombies, but they found plenty of energy to enjoy themselves. That afternoon Ryan took them back to the pool for another swim. We then headed over to Patrick & Anna's where we met up with John. We saw all the progress they've made on the new casa. It looks great & won't be much longer until they'll be moving in! We sent Ryan off to finish off the last leg of his "tour" & had a great dinner at the Cunningham's spending some time with the Watson's before they headed back to the midwest the next morning. The boys had a blast with Vada & showered Isla with plenty of attention as well. It was a fun couple of days with family & friends we wish we saw more often!

What a fun time - so glad we got to see so much of your family. Still amazed that Ryan was on "tour"! What an experience! For some reason, I'm not able to download any of my pics - but will hopefully get it straightened out soon. The Children's Museum is awesome! Love the shot of them playing hockey!!
