It doesn't seem possible that our baby could turn 5 today! Here he is waking up to his gifts & cards.

While his brothers napped, he & I assembled & tested his new Hot Wheels v-drop. It's a keeper!
All grown up, now he's looking forward to starting school next month!

We had a picnic at Wrightsville Beach Park for lunch.
Filson took 2 buddies with us to Jungle Rapids Water Park this evening. We had never been, and I was actually pretty impressed as they had a wave pool, lazy river, large kiddie area, and about 6 big water slides. With 5 kids, there wasn't any time to stop & take pictures! Ian saw the older 2 boys go down the tall slide in the background of this picture, so he thought he would be brave & climbed up the stairs & went down the all by himself. He was so proud of himself, so I had to snap a picture of the slide for him!
These 3 will all be starting at Ogden Elementary next month.....looks like trouble!

Happy birthday, Filson! Looks like he had a fabulous day! The Hot Wheels V Drop looks amazing! I will have to keep that in mind come December for a little boy here.
