Sadly, we lost our Grandma Roe on Saturday after being diagnosed with cancer only 4 weeks ago. Filson & I were able to spend 2 great weeks with her at her home in August and I will always remember that special time. We are so grateful that Filson was able to spend time with her in his first year. In January, he was even lucky enough to have a visit from her to our house in Wilmington. She was as sweet as they come and she will be greatly missed. We are headed to Iowa this afternoon and are looking forward to spending the week with our family.

What beautiful pictures of your Grandma and Filson. I am so glad that you had the opportunity to spend those two weeks with her and I know that it meant so much to her as well. We are so sorry for your loss and you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Have a safe trip to Iowa.
We were so sad to hear the news about Grandma Bea. We will always remember her and her kind soul. :) She was so super sweet to the kids. When I told Stella the news her reply was "I'm going to miss Grandma Bea so much"! Have a safe trip home, see you tomorrow.
We are mourning in your loss of Bea also. She was one super lady. So glad that you three kids got back in Aug to visit her. Know it meant so much to her to have her family close by. Travel safe.
